I have had the Canvas app downloaded for the last two years and I would have to admit that it is not my favorite app. It is rather convenient when I need to look up a due date while I'm on the go, but I find that the actual website is much easier to use. This might be because you can test possible grades on the website but this is not available in the app. If I know I have an exam coming up I like to test possible grades to see how this will affect my overall grade. All in all, I do think that the app is helpful in a pinch but I would much prefer the actual website.
